This memorial website was created in the memory of our dear loved one, Karen Probst who was born in Illinois on September 16, 1948 and went to meet the Lord,March 6, 2006 at the age of 57

They say memories are golden,
Well, maybe that is true;
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you,
A million times I cried;
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still;
 In my heart you hold a piece
No one could ever fill.
But now I know you want me
To mourn for you no more,
To remember the happy times
Life still has much in store.
Since you'll never be forgotten
I pledge to you today;
A hallowed place within my heart
Is where you'll always stay.
If tears could build a stairway
And heartache make a lane;
I'd walk the path to Heaven
And bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again! 

Karen always had a smile on her face, all she ever wanted was to be a Wife and Mother, she did both very well. She painted in her spare time, she was a very good artist. She loved her family very very much, they meant the world to her. She was the best Grandma of all . We will all miss her so very much in our world, But God had better plans for her in Heaven, where the Angels dance and sing. She is now with her Husband Rich, whom she missed so much. What a great reunion they must have had. We will miss her kind words, her laughter, the love and support she brought to her family. No words can say how much we all miss her. Just be happy in the Lord Karen, till we meet again in Heaven. We know you are watching over us , and are with us each and every day in our hearts, and memories, what great memories we all have of you.. this is not an end to life, but a beginning of a new life with Jesus. Till we are together again , We will feel the gentle breeze , see all the rainbows and know in our hearts it is you saying Hello and you love us and miss us too.

Karen, remember when we were talking and you had a dream about your mansion in Heaven and you told me the livingroom will have purple walls?  Here is your purple livingroom sis , where you will live in our hearts and  memories forever. I Love you and Miss you so much.

A LETTER TO MY FAMILY

To my dearest family, some things id like to say, 
first of all to let you know, i arrived here okay.
I'm writing this from heaven, here I dwell with God above,
Here there's no more tears of sadness, 
here is just eternal love
Please do not be unhappy, just because I'm out of sight
Remember that I am with you morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you, 
when my life on earth was through
God picked me up and hugged me, he said 'I welcome you'
'Its good to have you back again, 
you were missed while you were gone
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on'
'I need you here so badly, you are apart of my plan
there is so much we can do, to help our mortel man'
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, 
the days chores put to flight
God and I are close to you... in the middle of the night
When you think of my life on earth, 
and all of those loving years
Because you are only human, 
they are bound to bring you tears.
Do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain
Remember there would be no flowers, 
unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you,all what God had planned 
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, 
though my life on earth is through
More then ever before, I'm so much closer to you
There are rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb
But together we can do it, by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too
That as you give into the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody, who is in sorrow and pain
Then you can say to God at night....'My day was not in vain'
And now I am contented... that my life was worthwhile
Knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low
Just lend a hand to pick them up, as on your way you go
When you're walking down the street 
and you've got me on your mind
I'm walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind
And when its time for you to go.....
from that body to be free
Remember you are not going..... You're coming here to me.
